Ljubljana Specialty Shows - 12.01.2013

What a lovely start of the year! We were kindly invited to the Ljubljana Specialties held each year in January at the Ljubljana Shows I&II, and what a lovely day it was! I always appreciate specialties and club shows more due to the better judges, the meeting of friends and exhibitors and the lovely atmosphere, surrounded by breeders and owners of our own breed.This year was even more special, since the Sighthound Club of Slovenia celebrated its 20 year of existence! Congratulations to the club and may the sighthound passion continue strong in the future!

Our shining star HIBA gave us yet again another satisfaction, bringing her to her TENTH Best of Breed in just 2 years of age. We're so proud!
Tough smaller, our second star gave us yet another proof of her quality: BONNIE was shown at the Specialty for Toy Breeds and won PuppyBOB. Way to go, Bonnie!

Of course, I could never miss out an occasion like this to show train some other dog... as always Hella came with us, she was not shown due to the fact hat she already possesses the necessary amount of CACs to close the championship, we just need to wait 1 year. The fact is that she loves showing so much that I just can't show a dog without taking her out first! ;)

Here I am, back from Ljubljana, Slovenia, from a satisfying week-end. I had to handle a borzoi (Adaweya) from the kennel where Bagrijana comes from ( Ca' Frosco Kennel ), and she got excellent both days at all three shows!! the second day she also got CAC. She is quite a beautiful type of bitch... a little bit small for my taste but beautiful. Lovely head and eye, nice fluid movement, good angulations and a wonderful coat. I had a great time and I would like to thank all the friends, breeders, handlers traders and sellers who made these days special!
