SPRING CLUB SHOW Padenghe sul Garda (I) - 2./3.05.2014
I'd like to share the big news before everything else....
HIBA: exc1, CAC
HIBA is now ITALIAN CHAMPION!!!
it's the 7th Championship title for her, and the 18th BOB in only 3 years of showing. This girl surely made us proud, and we're so honored to have such an outstanding girls from our first litter.
Ok, now that my bragging has come to an end, I'd like to talk more about the annual Spring Club Show hosted by the Italian Sighthound Club at West Garda Hotel in Padenghe sul Garda. Unfortunately this year wasn't the sunniest of week-end, and we had heavy rain on friday 2nd, so the show ground turned into a swamp, making it difficult for the dogs and handlers to run without slipping and turning your beautiful groomed dog into a muddy mess (happened twice in our ring, actually... and one of them was... hem hem... me...). The next day showed us the famous May sun that marks Padenghe as one of the most beautiful Sighthound events in Italy, so a lot less slipping and a lot more running... :) It was a very special week-end for us, since we were surrounded by siblings and relatives of our dogs, so it was like a big family reunion. And of course we have the occasion of meeting all the friends that we can't meet as often as we'd like. A big thank you goes also to the great photographers of this event, my mother Anna Valle and Barbara Pensa.

We're also very proud of Hiba's nephew and niece "Liakov" (O. Stefano Ghidinelli) and "Tika" (O. Andrea Carminati), who were shown at the Club Show as well, and did a great job winning their class! Way to go boys, keep up the good work!
In addition to all the lovely news, another very pleasant event occurred. Two foreign exhibitors decided to honor our Country and our Club by entering their lovely dogs at the show... Stephan and Susanne are great people with lovely dogs, Leonid com Tollhaus and Ajoscha iz mira alf, and we hope they had a positive experience this week-end and will come back to our shows soon!
