CACIB Erba 2009

We spent a beatuful and successful Sunday at the CACIB show at Erba, in Italy. I brought Bagrijana with me and we spent the night at Ca' Frosco Kennel, where I had the priviledge to see the newborn puppies of the F litter (please visit the kennel's blog to view the pictures... they're really beautiful)... besides playing with the 2 months old puppies of the E litter!!
Anyway, we arrived at the show ground early in the morning so I could practice handling the handsome Dorogoi, who was entering his first CACIB show (he attened just 1 speciality open-air show in sprimg last year), and also the beautiful Velikij Jalina, who just got back from Sweden. The kennel entered a total of 5 dogs (1 male and 4 females), and I must say we were very successful:
- Dorogoi won exc1, CAC and CACIB
- Velikij Jalina won exc1, CAC, CACIB, and BOS
- Bagrijana won exc1, CAC and Res.CACIB (now we're half way through the Italian Championship!!)
- Dobrinja (who was handled by me) won exc2
- Dashkova (handled by Elena) won exc3
Congratulatios to Elena, breeder of these wonderful dogs!!!!

Here I am, back from Ljubljana, Slovenia, from a satisfying week-end. I had to handle a borzoi (Adaweya) from the kennel where Bagrijana comes from ( Ca' Frosco Kennel ), and she got excellent both days at all three shows!! the second day she also got CAC. She is quite a beautiful type of bitch... a little bit small for my taste but beautiful. Lovely head and eye, nice fluid movement, good angulations and a wonderful coat. I had a great time and I would like to thank all the friends, breeders, handlers traders and sellers who made these days special! Reggio Emilia Dog Show Cluster + Specialties (I) - 16-18.03.2018

Wow what a weekend, I'm still on cloud nine and speechless. It's been a while since we've been to the Reggio Emilia shows, but it's always a pleasure to show there, since usually you win mouthwatering local food like cotechino, prosciutto and other goodies (I'd take a big prosciutto over a rosette anytime lol).
