Bagrijana&friends

We spent a beatuful and successful Sunday at the CACIB show at Er b a, in Italy. I brought B agrijana with me and we spent the night at Ca' Frosco Kennel , where I had the priviledge to see the new born puppies of the F litter (please visit the kennel's blog to view the pictures... they're really beautiful) ... besides playing with the 2 months old puppies of the E litter!! Anyway, we arrived at the show ground early in the morning so I could practice handling the handsome Dorogoi, who was entering his first CACIB show (he attened just 1 speciality open-air show in sprimg last year), and also the b eautiful Velikij Jalina, who just got b ack from Sweden. The kennel entered a total of 5 dogs (1 male and 4 females), and I must say we were very successful: - Dorogoi won exc1, CAC and CACIB - Velikij Jalina won exc1, CAC, CACIB, and BOS - Bagrijana won exc1, CAC and Res. Yesterday we had the pleasure to see again some of the owners of the puppies of our Kess. Now the pups are 6 months old and it was really fantastic seeing them again. Three pups came: Mou, who is staying by us for a few weeks, Milky and Nutella, now called Maya. They are all three growing well, with a solid structure, good thick coat, good proportions and beatuful heads (which they all inherited from the mother!). We had an appointment today for a check up with the vet Milan Matko, from Veterinarska Bolnica Toplica in Slovenia. He said they were all perfect, also the hips and elbows, and he was very happy with their health. We're so proud of them, and I think that one or two will probably enter the dog show world in a short time. This Friday we went to Bergamo and passed a very delightful week-end at our friends' home at Ca' Frosco Kennel , where Elena Bertolini could see how well Bagrijana has grown in the last months. We also had the wonderful opportunity to visit our Golden Retriever puppy of the Sweets litter Honey, who's new name is Aran, now five months old, who lives with the owner nearby. There was also Diana's sister Irya. We met on Saturday evening at their dog training field ( Ikelvar sporting dogs association ), and had a splendid time with lots of friends. As always Bagrijana had to show off her peculiar character by overcoming numerous agility obstacles ALL BY HERSELF. That was really surprising, since she is usually a lazy girl and preserves all her energy and concentration for a nice run in the fields with other dogs. The Zwergpinscher male puppy, Cthulhu, is still available. He's growing very well and fast, with solid bone structure and muscles, correct bite and full dentition, fully descended testicles. He has a wonderfull character and brain. He's a quick learner and enthusiast of every new thing... He would be perfect for agility, obedience or similar sports and games. I'm really proud of how he's growing into an adult, though still very young. I hope he will find an agreeable owner who will love him just as I do. Seeing him go away will break my heart, but I know that he will go and stay in a better place, with people who will take great care of him.

Now the puppies are 2 months old and some of them have already moved to different homes. It was sad seeing them go, but I'm happy that they were taken by good people. I know they will take care of them splendidly. Our 'big boy' Muffin was the first to go, followed straight away by Nutella, and now a few days ago a wonderful family who has a big garden and lives near Milan came to collect Candyfloss. I'm happy they all found nice and agreeable owners. Now only four puppies are available: Mou, Cappuccino, Milky and Honey. oh no! I'm stuck! I can make it... YES!! Free!

Now the Golden Retrievers are 2 months and a few days old... They already happily explore the house and the terrace, running around like mad... They are so cute. Muffin, the first male, already found a home, and soon Nutella will go to her new family too. Here are some photos of the puppies placed and their heads.
